Does anyone know or can go and measure the overall length of their BX-1860 or BX2360 from the 3 point hitch to the bucket lip while at rest? I've read the length of the unit itself is right around 92" with no loader...

THANKS :thanku:

Back a day later than i said, But the 1860 measured 11' 3'' From loader bucket sitting flat to end of the 3 pt.

I'm assuming seebass322 wanted to know the length for strorage purposes or trailering. Sometimes I leave mine parked with the MMM on and disconnected and seaparated from the loader about 4 inches back. Plus you want some clearance, so realisticly you need about 12 ft for an 1860. 2360/2660s are a little bigger both in wheel base and the bucket.

Also, the loader in a BX can't do much without ballast on the back. I use a Kubota ballast box that extends the length to 12' 7". Just about any other attachment is going to be longer. Some owners use loaded tires instead which helps but that isn't as effective.

Measured my BX2660 in the driveway this morning - 11', 5" from front edge of loader bucket to rear edge of 3-pt., both in lowered or rest position.

Thanks everyone for responding! I am indeed looking at this from a storage/trailering perspective. I have 12' 6" and the door on the shed will barely close, so it sounds like I'll make it, without the ballast box of course...

Thanks again!
