Hello All. I'm pretty new here and trying to decide on a tractor> I've narrowed it down to either a JD 1026r or a JD 2320. My primary use will be towing a cart full of firewood from my woods up to our house. Wet, on an incline and bumpy.
I can't afford a FEL or backhoe attachment. What could I use to smooth out the bumps a little. There bound to be lots of roots since my woods are loaded with trees. Any advice would be appreciated. W.

A trailer, a shovel, and lots of dirt or gravel.

A front blade will help in leveling some of the humps and bumps, but you are going to need some fill material to cover the roots and fill in the deeper hollows.

There is no easy way with a small tractor, just ways that are more fun with the right attachment (FEL).
