Today I started building my garage in a box. It is taking forever because I live in up state NY and it is freezing out side the day before christmas. Also I did most of the work by my self, my dad and brother helped a little but not much, they complained it was too cold:crybaby:. I will probably have it finished tomorrow and I cant wait! Here are some pics of the building going up.:thThumbsU

Looking good. You have a crane......I'm jealous.
Thanks! I dont have a crane but I wish I did! Really you dont need a crane or anything besides maybe one extra person to help stand every thing up. I really cant wait until its finished!

What's that yellow thing with the boom to the left of your building in a box?

I have a 12 x 20 that has been up for over 5 years. Hail shreaded it about a year ago. Got a new top for about $60. Very reasonable garage and it keeps the mowers in the dry. Portable to, when I put the new top on I moved it to a more level location on my property. I believe the brand name on mine is "King Canopy". I love it.

That Bucyrus is crazy cool. I take it it's operational? I've seen a similar one "working" at a show. Bucyrus is legendary, thanks for the pics! Just curious also, whereabouts in NY are you?

Great progress on the garage. It looks like it's going together rather well without too much difficulty.

The shovel is very cool! I'd love for you to start a thread dedicated to it. It would be a big hit. :fing32:

As cool as the shovel is though, Ellis will tell you that nothing is cooler than a Galion road roller. Don't listen to him. While the Galion is cool, the shovel is more cool. :D

Thanks for starting the thread and the pics. Keep up the good work. :fing32:

We havent had it running in about ten years, but with a little work it would start right up. When my dad was low on money he wanted to scrap it and I said NO. He listened and it is not going any where. I live about 8 miles away from amsterdam in the town of glen.
