15 hours!! I hope it was a good deal. The hydro tiller and blower will round out your attachment collection nicely. Lets see some pics.

Looking through the manuals, i have everything needed for the snow blower. it has the manual rotation. its in alright shape. could use some paint and a new scraper blade. the auger is bent a little.

The tiller is in great shape. I need a couple things for it. I need bolts where the tiller hangs on the rear of the tractor. A rod is bent where it attaches to the front lift kit (seller said it still works, just sits lower. i will be replacing). I may also need a bigger hydraulic lift cylinder for the mower lift, which could be a problem to find. plus its expensive, :(

I am going to try to hook them up once the bengals game is over.

I also got a pair of chains (my second set, I got them with my blade as well). I also got 3 suit case weights.

Anyway, here they are:

PA318, you hit the target dead center. $1000 total for both. I may end up selling the snow blower since I already have a plow and it doesn't snow that much here in cincinnati.

i was able to successfully hook up the snow blower. i read in the manual that instead of buying a new scraper piece, you can simply unbolt it and rotate it 180 degrees for a new scraper. problem is, I can't get the nuts off the bolts. Its like they are small carriage bolts, and the holes are no longer square.

every time i turn the nut, the entire bolt turns. any ideas?

was unsuccessful at installing the tiller. need to run to lowes tomorrow and pick up some small hardware. i will (hopefully) know tomorrow if my cylinder can lift the thing or not.

edit: oh, and when the snowblower is running at full throttle, the entire mower shakes. is that normal, or do I need to investigate the gears and chain?

nice work!

your blower looks just like mine...

who can tell me what the black strip along the back of the chute is?

yours also looks to be missing the spout control like mine. The rubber hinge rivits are drilled out on mine and bolts used to lock the spout. so its not all that "adjustable"

dealer says spout control is no longer made... ????

black strip is just foam glued to the chute. i guess in case it hits the tractor? could probably be removed.

edit: I now know what you are talking about with the spout control. what does it do exactly, change the angle that the snow sprays out?

Still a good deal at $1000.00! On your snowblower there is nothing like a grinder to solve the stubborn carriage bolt issue (I have yet to see one that didn't have that problem), if you don't have a full grinder then get the dremel and cutoff wheels out and cut them that way. I've owned 4 snowblowers now and only the first one on my rf 110 shook, I think it needed bearings. I'd shake the auger (obviously when it isn't running) and see if it has any play at the bearing ends; if so replace them (it normally isn't the easiest thing to do!). PB blaster is your friend here!

KATT knows this one really well !! You gotta grind them off with a grinder. the guy's taught me this last week. You can't reuse them any way, ( too rusty ) get new ones !!

Impact. If they break, replace them.

If they dont break, grind them off as KATT says.

Install them using neversieze next time.

Why grind. I was in to the same problem when I did my 47. Using a small cut off wheel cut one side of the nut off. Then with a cold chisile and a hammer hit the nut of the bolt a lot faster then grinding. Was for me anyway.

I bought my tiller for $700. 2 yrs ago and used it twice. So this summer I painted it and sold it on Craigs list for $900.00. The guy that bought it told me he had been looking for one for 3 years that was not beat to ****. You got a great deal.

wow guys, thanks for the replies.

didn't think about the impact. i'll give that a try if i have a small enough socket. otherwise i'll just cut them off. i don't think i'll be able to use them again anyway.

i'll post an update tonight. probably won't troubleshoot the snowblower shaking until tuesday night.

dragon, what kind of tiller did you have? the 42" hydraulic or the 30" mechanical?

The black foam strip is supposed to protect the hood when it's opened.
