They have been selling a version of it for over a year at Walmart. Maybe it is a new version of it? Roger
I read that same article in the paper. Amazing how the special interest groups blame the consumer rather than the subsidized ethanol industry where the lobbyists are reaping big dollars promoting and the politicians taking bribes to make it happen. :duh:
Wow, those ethanol advocates obviously live in the city and commute on a subway. If they ever used E10 in any vehicle they would be forced to admit it's a problem. Even my BMW motorcycle, which has a smarter engine than any car I've ever had, does not run as smoothly if I don't put Sta-bil in it soon after fueling. Until I convinced him to start using Sta-bil or Seafoam to treat his fuel, my father-in-law was killing himself trying to figure out why he was having to rebuild the carburetors on equipment that never had problems pre-ethanol. And I resent the heck out of the implication that I and everyone I know are stupid enough to mishandle fuel constantly. Classic ostrich syndrome from the special interests...

Thank God my wife's next vehicle will be a diesel... that way we'll only have to deal with ethanol for the lawn equipment.

Love the amount of people who bring lawn mowers back to my blue box to return them and say right to my face "this piece of crap wont start I'll go buy another brand somewhere else". Then we send it out for repair and it comes back with nothing more than a carb cleaning and draining of bad gas. People refuse to believe me when I suggest them buying a bottle of stabilizer with their mower stating "it's not winter" and "I've never heard of this ethanol stuff"

so.....whats the concensus on a good addative for our tracators? Aside from the B&S one stated in this thread? Is any fuel stabilizer good or should i look for one that mentions ethanol? We dont have ethanol free gas within 200 miles of me.....so i would like to get the correct addative to help my mower last.

:howdy:Hi, I personaly use seafoam and love it but i did win some additive from one of our sponsors and i have not tried it yet. I myself am starting to read about hho generators and how to run my tractor on that instead of regular gas(it's outragous for gas ($3.65/gal)and both of my tractors have 2 gallon tanks and i have other things that i would like to run on alternative fuel sources. And my landlord is cheap and will not spring for gas anymore but he wants to go up on my rent if i do not mow the yard.cant wait to move to someplace better.Tootles:050::050::bellyemot:050::050:

I use Startron. They make 2 different kinds though, one is stronger and one isn't so strong, the one I sell @ work is the not as strong stuff so you have to use more of it. I usually just buy the stronger stuff my local Agway carries.
