I believe that you can use it. Just make sure length is the same.

Briggs 31C707 0230E1 Cam Change
Hello. I have a Briggs intek with a bad cam. It is a non-pump engine. The exhaust lobe is perfectly round; no lift. I have another parts engine which is a oil pump engine. Will the oil pump cam work in the non oil pump engine? Both cams look exactly the same except for the oil pump slot. Thanks for your help.
