I have a 2008 Craftsman YTS4000. Bought it used and the brake rod fell off soon after. I've been coasting to a stop ever since. Now, with time on my hands (sadly) I want to reattach it. For sure it connects on the left at the back to the brake, but it seems that it needs to connect off-center to the right at the front. The rod is not long enough and it hits the pulleys. I can't find a diagram that shows it assembled. Does anyone have such a thing or could someone with the same model send a photo of the connections? This is driving me nuts!

Thanks for your replies. I figured it out. The diagrams looked wrong, but weren't. It appears that the front was NEVER connected. The cotter pin and parking brake lever was completely attached so there's no way it could have fallen off! No wonder I got such a good deal on it...he thought it had no brakes.
