anyone ever heard of a bradford lawn tractor ? i looked at 1 today. number on tag was 5297-0000-yd4 . i googled the name and found a paragraph saying they were made by gilson or mtd for the grants" box store back in the 70s. anyone have a link to any info on these?

Posting a Photo is your best hope. Gilson & MTD made thousands of house branded tractors over the years.
For example Gilson, Jacobsen & MTD all made Ford lawn tractors over the years.

When someone asks who made Ford lawn tractors, there is no easy answer.

So when someone asks about a "Henway" built for the local Henway grain mill, we just ask for a photo.

sorry, no pics. i would think the production number i posted would indicate when it was made , therefore who it was made by? does anyone have a link to a gilson webpage with production numbers from 70s-80s ?
