I seem to have popped something in the pump and I am not sure what I am seeing. Replaced the oil seal around the range shifter and the front of the hydro started leaking pretty good. There is a metal ring around the input shaft and I can see the ball bearings... attached photos.
Any help identifying the problem would be great!
Thanks

I believe that ring is the metal seal from the ball bearing, not good to use tractor this way. If the input shaft is good all you need a new bearing, you can get one at any bearing house or good auto parts store.
That seal is part of the bearing. It only keeps the grease in the bearing. There should be another seal behind the bearing for the hydro fluid. If you are leaking fluid that rear seal will need to be replaced also.
Thanks, guys. I'll start tearing things out and see what I can do.
Anything else that I might as well replace while I'm in there, let me know.
My diagrams show the bearing and number it, but there's no reference/part# to it :|
