I picked up a snow blower for my 1250 last week, it spins free but is missing half of the driveshaft. Can I use the front half of the driveshaft from the deck?

The way it is now, I've got two attachments, (deck and snow blower), and only one tractor end pto shaft. I guess that's normal or is the blower missing half it's shaft?

Might be a silly question, but why would one need a snowblower in Florida ?

Most move to Florida to get away from the snow, are you headed north ?

I was just thinking the same thing, I go down to FL about 10 times a year and have never seen any snow on the ground yet. I have seen snow flurries though and freezing temps a few times.

I got a cabin up north, where it snows.

I picked the 1250 up before I came here, and got the blower from NJ last week. A buddy hauled it down here for me. Once it's all up and running, its on its way north.

I took the PTO shaft end from the deck and used it on the blower. I've got a few other things I need to do to it but hopefully it'll be ready when I need it there in January.
