When I turn there is a few inch wide section of grass that does not get mowed, it works fine when I am going in a straight line. Any ideas, is this normal?

It is normal to some extent yes, regardless of what model or brand of tractor and even with brand new blades... and it becomes more noticable as the blade tips get worn down.

Blades are pretty wore, I ordered some new ones.
