i recently ordered a set of 3 glow plugs for my Bolens G214. when they came i put them on a shelf in the garage. now that it is snowing out... i realized my original ones are not preheating the engine and starting is impossible.
the G214 plug on most sites is not the correct one.

it is apparent size matters

all i can find are 10+ volt units
part numbers for the correct plug could be (off 3 sites) GPW-6888 or off another site

I'm going to be up to my armpits in snow in a couple weeks so if anyone can point me in the right direction... it would be really great.

Try this company. I have a 1985 G152 and got a service manual from them.

Your old glow plug looks almost identical to the glow plugs in my 6.2 diesel GMC. I'd take it down to your local auto parts store and find a guy that's been behind the counter a while. I'd be pretty sure you could come home with a new set .

Just throwing this out so be gentle LOL. If you can't find a set, any way they could be bushed up? The lengths look the same just the od is wrong...................Mike
