Hi,
What do you think a Bolens G12 transaxle is worth? There is one posted now for $100, I think this might be a little too much........
What are your opinions???

my g12 i think has the same trans as my 1053s

same shift pattern everything
only diff is the PTO lever

so i would say its worth whatever a 1050 one is worth

I belive a g12 is a 3 speed, not a 6. I would give no than $50 for it if that is the case. a working 6 speed would probably be worth $100, but that would still be on the high side.

didnt early g12s have the 3speed where you swapped belts to get into low and high?

my g12 has a lever for high and low, just like the 1050s
so i have a 6 speed

Maybe they do have a 6 speed. Or yours could have had a 6 speed swapped in. Mine had a 3 speed in it when I got it, but who knows if it was original.

My G12 has the three speed with the HI/Low lever. Six forward and two reverse. Actually has five forward speeds as 3ed low and 1st high seem to be the same speed.
