What's the correct engine for early "60's 600?

i know it a B/S 6 horse power. I don't know the no.. I have a bolens husky 600,
1962 out back and it has the right engine. If you need the no. i will check it for you tomorrow. Later paul

Do you have any pics of the dash/cowl area?Do they have the same choke/throttle setup as the 800?

According to Sonnysbolens websight, a Bolens 600 with manual start is a Briggs 142302-019801 and an electric start is a Briggs 142301-019701.

standing behind the tractor, starter left side. choke right side, gas in center.
