Today I took apart the Lesco 48" commercial walk behind mower. I paid $60 for it mainly cause I wanted the casters on the front. No tranny, gas tank and 2 blades missing. The Kawasaki Fc420V had a huge hole in the rear of the block. This is the first Kawasaki I have taken apart. The counter balance weight opposite of the piston is interesting. There are 2 connecting rods attaching the counter balance weight to the crankshaft. The top one had about 3/16" in play in it. I don't know if it lost a bushing or just wore out that much. I am putting parts on ebay. There is some blue-ing on one end of the crank. Is the crank still useable?
