I have a 48" blower plus blade for my Craftsman DGS 6500, 26hp Kohler. After using a walk behind for one winter of record snows and 2 hours a cleaning, I bought the Berco. It's been sweet. About the only problem I've had is the cable for the lift snapped on me. The cable had drifted to the one side and was rubbing against the spool for the winch. It eventually broke.

I've since replaced it with a synthetic rope that is supposedly stronger than cable. Took me forever to cut the stuff. But I haven't used it officially for a season yet. But I think it'll work out great.

BTW, if you have any gravel on your driveway, the Berco will toss a rock like it isn't even there. This spring, I picked up some fairly hefty pieces a good 80 feet way from my driveway out of the lawn. Just goes with having a gravel driveway...

Simply awesome. I have the 44" Northeast Blower and 48" blade on my Craftsman Pro YT. They switch back and forth in under ten minutes. Here is my review of the blower (before I snagged the blade on CL). http://www.mytractorforum.com/showthread.php?t=74466&highlight=berco+review

The only thing I have to quibble about is that I think the blade could use a second trip spring. I think it trips too easily. Other than that, top notch all the way.

Yes, I've had the bercomac snow blade now for 7 years, works just fine. My dealer got it for me when I bought my L120 as he could not get the regular JD snow blade in for me at the time. I had to replace the quick attach front plate and the lift link as they wore out just this year, but was'nt expensive so I'm still happy with it and getting ready to go another snow season soon with it :).
