It seems maybe a year ago I noticed on Craigslist and Ebay someone in Wisconson selling Bercomac 2 stage blowers for Sovereign type tractors for $650.00. I have a Deutz Allis 916 and have a 36" blower for it. Does anyone recall who the dealer was or maybe suggest where a guy who has been looking could find one of those?

Yeah, I do see that ad now, maybe I should just get a 42" single stage. I am all for fiddling with things but, if its not a situation that would rewrite the time space continuum of moving snow I would just rather stick to what was engineered to work on these rigs. Is the 2 stage for Sunstars a Simplicity made unit or a Berco? I have a 16hp Sunstar that I plowed with last winter and I would not mind just mowing with my Deutz 916. I h

Is the 2 stage for Sunstars a Simplicity made unit or a Berco? I have Simplicity Sunstar 16hp that I weighted down with just a blade and that kept my road open last winter just fine. The snow banks were getting pretty high by the end of winter and now that I have a Deutz 916 to play with too, this season I want to be more efficient. Thinking that maybe I could have my son follow behind me on the Deutz 916 with the 36" blower and chuck the snow up past where I can push with the Sunstar.
They seem to be few and far between for the Sunstars. If I do see any they are usually the 42" single which I would have no problem with, just would like to try for a 2 stage to really toss the snow far.
