So your buying some new tires for your riding mower and you're thinking about putting the same tires on the front as you have in rear because symmetry is good right? You would think so, but your lawn would tend to disagree. The problem with putting the same tread design you have on the rear of your riding mower on the front, is that a complex tread design digs into the grass as your mower is taking turns. For all you perfectionist out there, settling for less than the absolute best for your lawn isn't an option. So I recommend going to a straight rib design on the front of your mower. Straight rib designs give your riding mower the right amount of traction it needs to take sharp turns, and at the same time not messing up your lawn in the process.
