Hi. Does anyone out there know the length of the belt for a M84 (48") snowcaster that is on a Case 448?

i have been using a gates #6982,
power rated,kevlar belt 21/32 X82 " ava at carquest.
the stock ones are great belts, but they are 9/16.
so, the xtra width adds about 30 r.p.m.

Stupid question but how are you gaining rpms with a wider belt? The belt would ride higher on the clutch pulley gaining you rpms but it would also ride higher on the snow blower drive pulley which would cause you to loose rpms. So in other words wouldn't they just cancel each other out?
