Just picked this up over the weekend. Belonged to my wife's grandfather. Been sitting in an old barn for the past 20 or so years. Has all the manuals!

Tractor model number: 917.25752

Also included was:

42" rotary mower - 917.253250
Tote box - 235.264223
3 point hitch - 917.253060
10" garden plow - 917.253020
Dump cart - 610.26351
Vacuum collector - 521.264703
Wheel weights & Tire chains

They tried to give it away to two other people, but luckily they were slow on the take.

Still has gas in the tank, which is rusty, and my major worry. Oil & Air filter look like they were changed before it got parked, service tag is still attached to the steering wheel.

Can't wait get it back into working order. Just need to make some room in the garage to work on it...

Also grabbed a nice looking old belt driven air compresser that was sitting amongst the other treasures.

Here are a few pictures:

I'm looking forward to getting this thing back into working order. Would really like to find a snow plow for it. I'm sure I'll be asking lots of questions as I work on it.

I'd be whistling to the tunes all the way home with that trailer load behind me. Very nice score!

Nice ! They are a good old tractor. Easy to work on, easy to fix. Yours looks pretty good. Mine was a little rough.

Here a couple photo's.

That looks great! Mine has the same crack on the bottom part of the grill. Did you just re-glass it?

Free is good. I've got an old compresser like that, 1hp JC Pennys
The one in the photo is a Sears. I think the cylinders on it are frozen. I can't turn the belt on it at all and it sounds like the tank is full of water. If I can't fix it, the tank looks like it could make a decent law roller.

handfull of nuts into the tank or a small piece of old chain,,,,also I would use gas tank sealer afterwards

Exactly what the above poster said....Also several washouts with acetone or mineral spririts after sitting in there a few days works good, too....
