Just found another B-12 in CT. for sale with the same white & black seat, 3rd one I've seen. I really like to keep things original, this black seat thing is killing me.

It is a B-10 seat. With the age of most of these tractors, many are now far from original in condition with numerous components swapped out. The one in your avatar has seen a few other mods. It looks more like a big ten to me since it has the yellow engine, but then none of them had a yellow starter so a few things have been repainted.

The whole tractor was repainted, a lot of it came off with the power washer. Engine was black and the drive is black. Even the spark plug & all wires were painted yellow.
