I see your post for the atv trailer. I didn’t see any responses and I am at the same point, trying to decide between the MUTS and the Woodland Mills machine. One is manufactured in Canada the other in China. Any opinions? What did you end up doing?

I ended up with a deal to good to pass on, and a heavier/bigger trailer. I ended up buying a single axle home built trailer a bud used to haul atvs over the road for 100 bucks, cut it in half added hinges, moved the axle and added a wireless winch , instant 5x6 dump. Ended up costing around 250 bucks, pretty cheap not as nice as a MUTS or Woodland Mills by any means and bigger atvs struggle if it's loaded with dirt/rock, so either I don't load it heavy or I hook it to my older compact tractor.

Thanks for you response. t looks like you had a great idea! I am pulling with a Kubota BX25D and a single axle may do the job. Your looks fairly heavy duty. Any idea of the load weight capacity? My main use is hauling shale. According to my manual my max hauling is 800kg. The non-dump trailer I have now goes close to half of that. How has your winch worked out? It appears the boom pivots. Nice detail!

Well I've had 4 buckets of rock and dirt in it and dumped it without issue. I usually only put 3 buckets in it from the BX23S. I usually pull the trailer with a B2650 sized machine.

That trailer is way overbuilt 3.5 inch channel, the floor is 7 gauge its no wonder the quads have a struggle with it.

I'm surprised the question hasn't come up of how many dumps it gets off of one battery. I'm currently using 12v 35ah scooter batteries since I have them available. We were shuttling a bunch of dirt this am and we dumped 13 loads off of an older battery before we ran out of dirt. I currently am using the battery stand alone with no charging from the tow unit.
