I'd vouch for a complete overhaul (if the need be) in prone areas such as fuel tank, fuel lines and related parameters. Seems to be in a rusty condition, but should do with some painting as starters. You could also take used auto parts to enable the rebuild', which should be easy on the pocket.

I'm thinking the $150-$200 range. From the looks of the pictures, you are going to be doing a total rebuild to get a lawn mower. It is a neat mower but scarce so used parts will be hard to come by.

Having said that, I have one myself. Mine is a Noma but they are actually made by Stiga, a Swedish or Finnish company. Parts are still readily available and if you contact them through their website, they will answer and you can find the nearest dealer.

Look closely at the deck, they will rust and get thin around the edges and start to break. Also they steer by cable and on some that cable breaks often. There is an upgrade kit involving springs to ease that problem. The cables aren't cheap although I forget the exact price. I micky moused mine with some clothsline wire, instead of paying for a cable. The other thinmg with them is there is no up and down in the articulated joint, just side to side, so you can get hung up on hills, usually turning on hills.
