A shame not many hours operating time on the machine or tires . what do they get for one of those tires?

I would see about getting that one re-sectioned. I think that is the proper term. Or,a boot and a tube and your back in business.

189 hours, with a connection, replaced for $650, now, i finally have one of those high priced planters:fing20:

Ouch!!! I agree with xdiver86, you should look into getting that tire sectioned. I do field service mechanic'in on heavy equipment, and we have it done to loader tires all the time. At least then you would have a good spare for the future. Most large commercial tire places can do a section job for you. costs about a quarter to half what a new tire costs. It is kind of like a recap except for the sidewall.
