Hey Guys..

I was wandering Homedepot and saw they had an Ariens Max Zoom with a 60" Deck.. Some research on here and the internet shows that its the same as a Gravely ZT 2760HD .. So I went to the Gravely dealer to check them out there and they are $1200 more expensive than the Ariens at Home Depot.

A few years ago I bought a Peice of crap toro / mtd so I don't want to go down that path again.

Any advice, anyone own one ??

One of the reasons to get a tractor from a dealership is the support. You buy it from Home Depot and it might not even be assembled right, and once it goes out the door, its yours. Home Depot dont want a **** thing to do with it anymore!

I appreciate your response, but $1200 is a lot of money to me and the tractor does have the same warranty as the Gravely.. If something went wrong and HD didn't want anything to do with it then they would happily be dealing with my credit card company.

Thanks for the welcome :)

I am still researching what to buy, I am on a limited budget .. I am open to any suggestion on a zero turn between 52 and 60" deck for around $5k mark.

1200 is not pocket change. I am not familiar with those mowers. I guess I would wonder if these are actually the same machines. Take some time and talk to your local dealer. Ask him if he would, to please educate you on the differences between the 2 machines.
Tell him you understand the benefits of buying from a dealer, but what you are looking to know is if there is any actual mechanical differences.
I am in big ticket retail. I don't mind at all when someone would like to know the technical specs between what I have and another brand. If they are a good dealer, they will take the time with you. I have always found a dealer who doesn't take the time before the sale, certainly cannot be expected to give you much time after the sale.
