I'd be looking to save it from being scrapped, but have no interest in it for myself. So if anyone knows what it is and has an interest let me know. If I can get it for a reaonable price I'm going to grab it regardless, just to get it out of the elements and hopefully into someones hands that can enjoy it.

Matt that is a early Case garden tractor. I believe it is a 155. They are very collectible and look great when they are restored.

Looks like you're right! I love this site. Took a look on Google images and it does look pretty cool restored. Unfortunately, I have too many projects in line to keep it for myself. If I can save it I will. Waiting to hear back from the guy. Not sure what he has in mind as far as price. And given the fact that I didn't even know what it was, solidifies the fact that I have no idea what they are worth. Any idea?

I am going to guess that to a collector it is worth $350 the way it sits. I know restored they go for $1200 plus.

Should be a metal tag on the right side lower dash with Model number and S\N. Hows the tin\sheetmetal and is it manual lift?

Turns out its a Case 120 based on the tag. I didn't get it quite as cheap as I was hoping, but as long as I break even (fuel etc.) and it goes to a good home I feel better than leaving it there to die. Going to drop it in the classified section. If anyone is interested before I do the CL thing, let me know.
