Picked up a Steiner 420 today apparently there was a problem with the front
hydro drive so the guy I got it from bypassed it and runs the tractor in 2WD by the rear unit.The front drive has to be put in neutral to roll.Any ideas where to start digging?
BTW pretty nice tractor other than that problem has a Kubota 3 cyl gas engine,good sheet metal,duals all the way around no attachments though.

Here's a start, Gary. You can probably figure out a lot from the IPLs.

Select Product lines, then Schiller Grounds care as the OEM, and Schiiler Gronds care as the catalog.

From there, click Steiner, and 420 for the model.
