I just got a new-to-me 2305 w/62C and the deck lift mechanism is not adjusted correctly. At the highest setting its cutting about 2-1/2 inches. I tried correcting it last night and feel Im closer to getting it right but I need to mow ASAP because the grass is getting too tall and I don't want it to get beyond my equipment.

Part of the problem is I was hospitalized last week with a severe colon infection...and although they have released me I'm not quite up to wrestling with the 62C to get this all figured out.

So..... can I just mow with the 3-point at it highest position which is how the deck is raised / lowered...? Its just about right cutting the grass at about 4-inches....
