I started up the twelve year old Generac generator with fresh gas today for a maintenance run. It started on the first pull but began surging immediately. There must have been a little gummed up gas in the carb, despite the fact that I always close the in-line shutoff valve to stop it. After about five minutes of surging I added a small amount of Seafoam right into the tank. Within a few minutes it ran like new for about twenty minutes until I shut it down. Ya' gotta' love Seafoam! :thThumbsU

Another happy seafoam user here too.

My Stihl trimmer (which I use almost every day) all the sudden was hard to get started. Parts guy at the dealer said to put 3-4 oz in the tank and fill with gas. That day I noticed a difference!! Then he said use 1-2 oz every fill. I did that the next fill, but I will only do that every time I mix new gas up. :trink39:
