Delivered on Friday, drove down to the dealership today and finalized the paperwork. Haven't really been able to use it yet to cut the entire 2 1/2 acres we need to mow due to rain, but have used it already to haul some dirt around (lots of crappy areas in the lawn I'm trying to reseed this year with some nice Scotts seed)

Either way, all I can say is... I love this machine!

Nice beefy HDAP tires

Congratulations Chris, I've got the same setup new this season. It's pretty awesome indeed! Thanks for those glamor shots, I'll now dream easier about what chores I can put my machine to next.

I'm old school when it comes to tools and tractors, but that sure does look good. A person could really get excited about mowing the lawn with something that that, indeed. Wait a second, is that grass clippings I see on the mower deck?

Those pics look like they came out of the JD brochure, nice clean machine, beautiful lawn. I love the wagon, how much does that one hold (bushels, cubic feet, etc)?
Congrats on a great GT.

It's the 18 cu ft dump cart. I'm impressed with the build quality, doesn't feel cheap at all. My old "Load Hog" is only 10cu ft, the extra 8 will deffinately come in handy around the yard. Now that we have the X500... I'm just going to find things to do just so I can use it! lol. I was going to originally get the 13cu ft dump cart, but the dealer had an 18 layin around and wanted to get it out of the showroom so they gave me a good deal on it.

Nice lookin machine. Do they have power steering and hydraulic lift for deck?
The X534 and X540 have that. The X500 after all was said and done was pretty much the limit we were willing to spend. I don't need the bells and whistles like power steering or push button deck lift anyway, lol. They're nice, but I have no use for em.

Congrats on the new machine. :thThumbsU

I got the exact same pair back in april. It's an awesome thang.

Just the curious tire pressure question...what pressure did the rears get set to at the dealer? Mine came delivered with 28psi ... a bit over the recommended 10 psi.

What if I can get the 500 for under 5000 grand? Is it worth it and why? Anyone got pics or video of it pulling a brinly plow? What is covered under the 4 year warranty? Is worth paying a little more than a grand more than a craftsman, it does have the longer warranty? I apolgize in adavance for hijacking the thread. I just saw the machine that you have and was impressed with its sweetness. I found a deal on a new one for under 5000 grand.

Thanks,
Hillbilly

Those are mounts for an umbrella, or sunshade, I guess it's called, and I think you can get a spotlight and a couple of other things that fit in the holes. I keep going back and looking at those nice, clean, ungrubby, no mud caked in them, still got the tits on them HDAP's. Been a while since I saw NEW ones:D

10 psi is the max recommended, stamped right on the tire. They really don't need more than that, and you don't notice if they get low until it's down to about 5-6 psi

It's a tough cart, but be careful. I bent the frame a little when dumping a heavy load. The cart back fell onto some rock pretty hard. I now have to put some lateral pressure to get the tailgate back on.
