So thanks to all your help i had the drive belt run properly and everything is good. I had the tractor stood up on its back wheels, and a bunch of oil leaked out. I replaced the oil and all is now at correct level.

Now the it wont start, it doesnt even try, its like when the PTO switch is engaged it just does nothing. The PTO switch is not engaged and the lights turn on when the key is on that part. It might be something with the brake/parking brake but physically as far as stopping the tractor they are working properly. I dont know what the problem would be but its probably something related to the drive belt change.
Thanks
Steve

Bunch of black fluid leaked out im pretty sure was oil. And i added oil. I tried jumping it doesnt do anything. Like its dead. Very dead. Except the lights come on. It started fine last night but i left it tilted on back wheels all night and now nothing.
Thanks

Another thing to check is the vent in the gas cap to make sure it's allowing air into the tank. If the vent is plugged, the engine gets no gas. I'm thinking that tipping it up with gas in the tank might have disturbed the vent.

As for interlocks, the brake has to be on and I believe there has to be someone in the seat in order for the engine to start. Maybe something happened to the wire leading to the seat?

it is possible that you pulled a wire/switch out of place while trying to change the belt. the service manual linked in your other thread will show you the location of each one.

btw, next time don't tilt the machine up. it ain't good for the engine or the tranny. before you start it, remove the spark plugs and turn it over a couple times just to blow any oil that may have accumulated out of the cylinders. it probably did not get any in them, but leaving it up like that over night it may have some.

So from what i can tell the only cable i removed its the "electric PTO clutch wiring harness from the PTO clutch" which if i understand the system it might cause it to not attempt to start. But if i was sitting on the seat would it even matter if that was connected? Cause you can have the pto switch on if you are sitting in the seat. All the other connectors are good and i never touched any of them except that wiring harness. Do you think it could be bad now just because i unplugged it. I dont seem to be able to find a diagnostic that deals with that part exactly in the service manual.
Thanks
Steve
