another 7116/7117 question

are these the same tractors with different motors or are there more differences to fit the motors, I ask because I have a 7116 that's pretty beat up, but motor runs great, I found a 7117 in much better shape, with hydro lift (mine does not have this) but no motor

can I simply swap my motor from the 7116 onto the 7117

maybe LOL

it's only been for sale about 2 months

but there's also a 7119 I'm seen too

do you know anythign about this 7117?
i laid my eyes on it. besides the very top piece on the shade its junk.
the machine itself didnt look to bad to me. looks like it may have had a twin motor in it....or at least the remnants of the motor that is there is a twin.
offer the guy $150 to start.
i went after the sun shade but like i said.....junk. wanted to trade with the guy.
so after driving over an hour and not wanting to trade on the shade i asked if he had anything else he wanted to trade.....answer was "no". good luck.

I talked to him on the phone about 1 month ago, he didn't seem too friendly LOL

there is a 7119 in the area, funny thing, it happens to be a guy I've delt with on jeep parts, he was cool to deal with so I thought about going to see him first, as I didn't care about the sun shade. But now I'm looking at a running tractor too, I may just get that and sell mine as a running tractor.
i dont know if he is a collector or a repair man but he did have some real nice machines at his home.
the 16 HP single 'Briggs will physically fit in the 7117 frame but you may have to modify the wiring that was made for the Kohler twin. The frame on the 7116 would have to be modified to accept an opposing twin like that in the 7117. Other than that they are the same tractor.
