It looks like you have the same deck as my MTD 1500. You are missing hangers on the left. These are the best pics I have of the hangers installed on the deck and uninstalled during a rebuild. The hangers are the x shaped hangers on the right and left edges of the rebuild photo and the four hangers at the bottom right of the rebuild photo. I downloaded a manual from gttalk for a Unico 42 inch mower deck model number 193-962. You have to be a member to download manuals, but it is a free membership.
Am I missing mower deck brackets?
I have an old MTD 1200 tractor. It came with a mower deck, and I havent found the manual yet to determine proper installation. Looking at the tractor itself the right side of the machine seems to have a few more bracket parts than the left side. Ive been unable to find a good picture online. Im attaching pics of both sides.

Most of those parts are just cleaned up and repainted. The only thing I had to replace was one blade spindle and it was around 85 dollars for the spindle, bearings and housing. I got them at a place called Boechter Supply. I know there are sources that advertise on this site, but this place is only a half hour from me and so that's where I go. It is also where I get parts for my old Briggs engines. This is what the deck looks like since the rebuild. I used it once before the rebuild to see if it worked and once after the rebuild for the same reason. I don't keep it attached to the tractor on account of I would rather have the 3 point lift on it and you can't have both at the same time. And I have a different tractor I prefer to use for mowing.
