Allis Chalmers -- Simplicity cross reference

I need a mower deck for an A/C B-207. If I knew what to search for I would search for A/C and Simplicity. I'm sure the answer is hiding in plain sight, but the cross reference charts I have seen don't even list the B-207. So, where am I going wrong, and what Simplicity tractor is similar to the B-207? I also need the corrugated grill screen for that tractor.

:fing32:Have you tried the cross-reference charts at Simpletractors?

I ran through them one more time to make sure. Model B-207 is not in those charts. A 7 HP model is not in those charts. Maybe the 7.25 models are close enough for the purpose of finding a mower deck.
I'm pretty sure it would be a Broadmoor.
Do you have any idea how old your tractor is? And what size deck you might be looking for? In the "years made" it has a list of the various decks and model numbers.
I agree that it has to be the Broadmoor, from the brochures. There are certain variations, specifically the size of the mower deck. I guess it can handle either size.

John-RF -- Which site are you referring to? Tractor Data has the years of manufacture of the AC B-207 as 68-70. Mower size? 32" and 36" are both listed for the Broadmoor in the brochures at Simple Tractors. Which site, John?
There are several different cross tables in Simple Tractors but I think you are correct to try and find the numbers associated with the Broadmoor.
I doubt you are going to find a crossover for B207 or
b208 since I don't think there is any. That said, there is likely be some interchangeability of mowers but doubt you are going to find any references regardless of the site.

the 7.25 hp tractors are large frame tractors and are in a totally different line of tractors. The 725 is equivalent to the B-1
Phil is correct. The B-207 and 208's do not cross to a Simplicity. They had unique hoods, grills, and a peerless trans while the Simplicity broadmoors used a Simplicity-built transmission. Despite there not being a "direct" cross the 207/208 tractors are still in the Broadmoor family and came with the same 36" deck used on 717, 727, 728, and 5008 broadmoors.
Thanks for all the valuable help. Experience is something you can't get off the shelf, but you can borrow it from other people. I will now find that mower deck!
Model #1600004= Deck
This is what is on my deck that came with my B207E, Hope it helps.
If you need anything else, let me know, I have a mid mount blade and plow that also came with it. Not sure if there are numbers on those items, but i can look for you.

Let me know if you cannot zoom all the way in on the photo, I can send it to you directly if that is better.

Hello, Al -- Great photo. And a model and serial number, too. And yellow paint, the real thing. First one I've seen that wasn't mounted. I've seen the orange ones on line, but not a yellow one. Same exact mower, apparently. I may have to buy one up north and have it shipped to South Texas. This is not AC country! Hey, how about a photo of the tractor?

Nlesslove -- Thanks for the post. That's a gorgeous machine. The only Allis Chalmers I have seen in person is my own B-207. So I like to look.
:ditto: that !, a fine looking AC you got there :fing32: :thanku: for the pics !.

Just curious, does yours have the raised hood scoop? It does not look that way in your photo. Do you know what year yours is and if it had the hood scoop? Mine has no serial number on it, the decal is too worn.
