Hello,
I just bought an AC b-207. On tractor data it says that the engine is a Briggs & Stratton 170700. The model on the engine in my 'new to me' tractor is a Briggs & Stratton 171700. Would they have used a 171700 originally? I was hoping I had the original engine, but am not so sure. I'm curious what others think. It would be a bit disappointing if it is not original.
