Need help with the gas tank I have the tank but the file tube is rotted and I need a replacement.

You've come to the right place. Lots of folks here with old tractor expertise because they're....okay I won't go there.

This is the AC B10 garden tractor ? I don't recall they have a fill tube, just a cap on the tank. Can you show a picture of the tube you're referring to ?

Are you talking about the line from the tank to the carburetor?

I think he's talking about the neck where the cap goes.

Yes where the cap screws on. I will take a picture of it this afternoon and post it

Depending on what's around it and what size the existing port is, and how unlikely it would be to find another, better tank (IDK anything about your specific tractor or how available parts, either new or used, are for it), you might consider buying another tank with a similar sized port that is rust free, and then cut it would and braze/weld it to the original tank.

You might also search your area for people/companies in your area that part out old tractors. They might have the correct tank for your tractor, or at least another tank that you could use to make your tank work.
