I've seen aftermarket loaders, but haven't been able to find one for my 25Hp Husqvarna 2554 Tractor.

I'm looking for one thats self contained w/hydraulics, oil tank and valve operator. If anyone knows the "brand name" it would be most helpful. I know with a little fabrication I can make it work. Weather its a 12Vdc pump or from a pulley on my Husqvarna tractor that has a horizontal front and rear shaft engine. Currently I have an under pulley attachment bracket for the snow thrower attachment. That might be used to power the pump.
Husqvarna says no loader attachment exists, probably because they don't mfg it.

Surly somewhere out there knows and understands "This Can be Done".
:madpc:

thanks soooo much!

No the Kwik-way Will not work On the Tractor Kwik-way has Not Made a Loader since 92/93 for Craftsman and There reason Behind It The Frames where changed and the front axles are Not Heavy enough to support the weight You can email or Call the President at Kwik-way and Don will tell You the same Thing That these style of Tractors are Not really capable anymore of supporting a traditional Loader The best thing I Can tell You if You want a traditional Loader for Your 2554 Check with PF engineering http://www.p.f.engineering.50megs.com/ or Cad Plans which had Plans for a 1 arm Loader Model 507 http://www.cadplans.com/507.htm or Maybe a Model 907 http://www.cadplans.com/907.htm Now If Your 2554 is One From Lowes meaning a LGT Sonny does Have a Point about it Being a Lawn Tractor trans which is Not a Good Idea for a Loader If Your Tractor was One of the dealer Only Husqvarna Garden tractors You Might be able to get by with a traditional Loader But the frames & Front axles are Not that different You will Probably need to reinforce the front Frame, Front axle and spindles even the Old Kwik-way Loader Kits had spindle upgrades so In the Long run a Johnny Bucket Might be Your Best Bet while It's Not a Traditional Loader It Can Move Material and Do some digging http://www.johnnyproducts.com/J_Bucket_HTMs/Model-Directory/Sears-Craftsman-Directory.htm I wish They Had Left the frame thickness and Front Axle alone from what they were In the early 90’s So I would try one of those Loader Kits and Go from there:thThumbsU
I should rephrase that the Kwik-way Might work if You can find One that was Made for a early 90's or Late 80's Craftsman Tractors But You will need frame and axle reinforcement and you’ll Probably Have to Upgrade Your trans

I wouldnt run a loader on that IMO, just not built for it. I would buy a GT with an FEL already on it used off CL, probably cheaper than a new loader anyway

Guy's THANKS SOO much for all your input. I wasn't aware of the axel aspect not being able to handle the load, or with regard to the trans.

I currently have now 3 tractors, 1-654 Wheelhorse with a blade, 1-20Hp Craftsman w/snow blower, and the Husky with the 54"mower deck.....Humm running outa room in the shed..:dunno:

So Now I begin looking for good used loader..

Again folks thanks a million!:thanku:

The Wheel Horse would Handle the Loader Better than the Other two tractors that You Have.

Likewise Massey Ferguson GTs
MF10, 12, 14, and 16
MF1200 thru MF1855

The MF12 hydro probably weighs more than your Huskvarna and I had a FEL on one for 7 years. I 've had a FEL on my MF1655 since 1984.

The hydro versions are better for FELs than the gear versions of any of the tractors listed. Much better direction and speed control.
