I bought a toothed flywheel for a vac set up and I cant see how to get the recoil piece that is right in front of the flywheel off. I see no retaining ring or set screws either, its a 8hp older Briggs horizontal engine:banghead3

Some of the motors had the recoil drive held on by the flywheel nut, the small motors that used the recoil drive that freewheels one way and holds the other screwed on to the crankshaft.

well I got the flywheel changed out and am now looking for the right starter, my flywheel has 113 teeth. Will those starters on ebay with 14 teeth work?
