Thanks for the photos. I spent a bunch of hours on a 1000 about 40 years ago without a cab. The most memorable thing was how nice the seat was after being on a D-JD and a LA-Case.

I spent many, many hours on a couple of old "U" Minnies when I was a kid. Both were propane, and both had the propane tank mounted right in front of the steering wheel. The propane tank had a pop-off valvue that would blow when too much pressure built up. It would scare the absolute bejeebus out of me when it blew.
