Hi just a few more questions for you experts out there
#1 my tractor grinds when I put her in gear unless I just " throw" it in hard then it goes no problem is this just because it is an old piece of heavy equipment ?
#2 the muffler which is located under the tractor between the rear wheels has been flattened will this affect the operation of the tractor and if so is there any where that I can purchase one used in the Peterborough or Toronto area?
Any help is always greatly appreciated
Thanks

Could be that your clutch is on it's way out....which would explain the hard shifting.

As for the muffler.....Steiner's Tractor parts....they should have it. :fing32:
