Well Got the exhaust problem fixed but when you put the 9n in a bind with a disc or plow or if you put it in 3 gear it starts sputtering and feels like its loosing power. Any tips.

When this happens, do you notice any smoke coming out of the crankcase breather? Does it burn any oil?

It is burning a little bit of oil. And there is no exhaust coming out of the crankcase.

check to see if she is running too lean.. sputtering in 1/2 under load could be too little power needle.

3rd is a high gear and won't take much load anyway..

Be sure and check your spark is nice and blue a lot of times weak spark is responsible for low power.
