id re check and make sure everything is hooked up.
also .. any safety's that would stop it from cranking
Test The Starter..Use Jumper Cables.Clamp the positive to the Wire terminal. Touch the Negative to a Good/convenient Spot on the Starter Housing Somewhere and see if it Cranks. I normally put the Clamp on to the Positive and Touch the Ground so that WHEN YOU MAke Contact and Get the initial Arc/Spark when making Contact, you dont Bugger/melt your Positive Wire terminals Threads.Once you have your Starter varified as Working fine, you can go Backwards and Hunt down the Fault..Might be Coicidence ,but the Starter may have Died on you..Strange things can happen..

hit it with a hammer, its a good heavy starter it can take it. :Stop:
ok ill give that a whirll after i go to the hardware store and get a new terminal for the solinoid you think it could be the solinoid?
its easy to jump the solonid or starter relay on most riding mowers. you can also measure if voltage is getting to the relays coil. Might work better than a hammer
Hammer + Caveman/Tractor Owner = The original "Fix"
well a hammer is one of the three things you need to fix just about everything also including ductape and ty wraps:sidelaugh
LOL That`s the Problem .You used the Cheap, Duct Tape to install the Starter. It`s not Grounding Properly, through the Shiny side like it`s supposed too. LOL
:sidelaugh but no seriously, some of the starters on the opposed biggs after they sat for a while, you could rap on them witha hammer and they would starter to work again. usually not a permanent fix.
yea im gonna do that tomarrow today i went to tractor supply and picked up some new paint it goin to be AC orange and i also picked up the new terminal so i hope after all of this she will turn even tho i need a new coil for it to start:fing20:
