900 spark plug?
hey gang, just another dumb spark question. i have replaced the coil . and bypassed the points , now i have a good clean spark if i ground the plug wire, when i attache the new plug and ground it out i get intermitant spark at times and no spark at all when cranking . im using a cj8 champion plug brand new. any suggestions?:thanku:

thanks for the info guys, it was the plug . i first started with a new cj8, the tractor started, i ran it for about 15 minutes then i shut it down,wanted to tie down a few loose things before i took her down the driveway, well thats when it wouldent start again, checked spark at plug and nothing. bought another cj8 and thats when i noticed the intermite spark. thats when i posted my delema . itskind gets frustrating at times. well i took chargins advice and bought the j-19lm plug that tractor spun over about three time and fired up. now thats a good feeling. just want to thank you all for the help. just have to make a gasket for the exhust flang and paint the hood. :thanku:
