I just did some work to the hydralics on my 50 8n. I put the Naa piston in, new relief valve, and the draft control pivot pin. The 3pt works awesome. Raises fast and holds up after shutting the tractor off. The only issue I have now is the 3pt seems to be pulsating when it is all the way up and it never did that before. Almost like it is trying to push highter. When this is occurring the lever is not even all the way up. Maybe and inch or so from the top

The internal linkage adjustments are off just a bit, probably from wear, nothing serious. Did you replace the cam follower pin or check it when you had the cover off?

Sounds like the lever may be out of adjustment. Loosen the quadrant bolts and move it a little until it starts acting right.
