Got one during the week. Engine has been completely rebuilt along with all new plates etc in the transmission.
Only thing is the charge pump is weak I think in the transmission now so the first 8 gears are doing nothing. from 9 onwards, its fine though.
Just wondering, is it more than likely the charge pump or is there another thing that could be wrong.
Also, does anybody know when the 40K versions started being made and were the ones fitted with the lightweight rear wheels all 40K...
Looking up part number sites like messiks, it seems the 40K versions started in 8/2/91 and the lightweight wheels started in 10/8/91 or something along those dates.
Didn't take it upto full speed on the test drive but I hope its not a bloody 30K gearbox! :banghead3
