I recently purchased an 850 JD tractor (1982). Usage will be mostly for mowing using a 3 point mower and 3 point blade work on my small 30 acre hobby property. I’m not planning to add a FEL as it’s 2WD but who knows down the road. I’ve heard clearly that 4WD is best for a FEL on this size tractor but have also heard others who have added them for light/straight forward work. Also understand finding an 80 or 75 JD loader with mounting brackets is not easy to do. Would appreciate hearing from anyone who attempted or accomplished adding a FEL to their 850 2WD and the good/bad details that came with their project. Thanks
