Anybody Know what kind of hydro trans is in these and are they serviceable?

Its a peerless, same as the ones in the 165, 175, and some 185's. No they are not serviceable besides a thorough cleaning, and changing the oil to a heavier weight. I had awesome luck putting in 2/3 90 wt. And 1/3 30 wt. My tranny was sluggish, not shot.

I kinda wondered my kid found one with a blown motor for a winter project but he thought it was a eaton

Manufacturer: Eaton
Type: hydrostatic
Gears: infinite forward and reverse
Comments: Single-range hydrostatic transmission operated with right-hand control lever.
Oil capacity: -unknown-

Naw I think your right as close as I can figure Tractor data is wrong.

Peerless made the manual transmissions. The hydros on 100 series were either Eaton or Sunstrand. For the period the 111 was produced I think only Eaton was the supplier. The major difference is whether the drive pulley is located on the top or side of the unit.
