7hp Tecumseh throttle adjustment

Anyone with a tecumseh motor that can tell which which one of the 3 holes the wire goes into? I thought I selected the correct one, but it won't throttle up to full throttle when I engage the tiller.

Mine is in the the hole to the left of your hole.

Where did you get your carburetor?

Its the same carb, just dumped an entire can of carb cleaner on her to clean her up and replaced all the rubber with a factory $15 kit. She runs like a champ now. You are probably running into the same problem I was about finding a new carb. They just aren't available. I stopped by two shops locally and checked a handful of online dealers, they all said they could get one, but when I had them check -- sure enough, no luck.

Yes I could not find a new one. My carb was broke because someone hit something with the tiller and it could not be fixed.
I did find a new carburetor I used a carb off a hh80 on my hmxl70...woot it worked:fing32: The only thing that I had to do is straighten the choke handle because it moved the opposite direction as the original and it would hit the air breather.
Use part number 632351 in place of 632464
