I'm cleaning up some property for a friend. One of the items is this 3000 tractor. It is in really bad shape from sitting in the woods basically for twenty years (estimate). What I'm wondering is if this tractor has any value over and above what I will get out it running it across the scales? Is it worth parting out? Is the hood worth anything? etc. I have no pics, sorry. Thanks for any help.

I guess about $800-1200 unless there are special parts off it that go high. That would be all there and straight sheet metal.

Okay, I took another look at the tractor. I'll try to take some pics tomorrow and post them on the thread. It is has a gas engine. I found the serial numbers off of it, but not sure what they mean. The numbers are:

310230
C1350996 D13

They are stamped just like I posted them. I found some info, but they show only six digits, not seven. Maybe the top number is the one?:dunno:

Post that 3000 on the ford forum.
Surely someone could use at least that Hi Low Trans.
Power Steering requires lots of parts and gotta be worth the 800 I paid for
my parts tractor.

The 3000 was a very popular tractor and many of them still in use I'd say you'd get a lot more than scrap price for it for some one wanting a parts tractor and I've seen others worse than that fixed up.I'd try to start it and take it from there.
