In PA. I have no affiliation, just thought someone might be interested or at least look at the boat load of pictures the guy has. Looks like the real deal. He has another RF and a Patio 110 FS too.
I saw that too. Jeff's price is a little too high for me... but where else are you going to find another. :dunno:
The pictures are neat. I had not really seen a 63 deck before. Does not look like the original engine. Doesn't the original have fins all the way up around the exhaust? I think he even says this in one of his ads.:trink40:
Me Personally for some reason I have No Interest Before 1966 The earliest I want to find Is a 1966 110 with Hydraulic lift. a Friend of Mine who is a Salesman at a Deere Dealer has a 63 fully restored with a Integral Hitch & Deck Now to me a 66 with Hydraulic lift fully restored would Be worth $2000:thThumbsU
We wanted a '66 too, but for other reasons. Hydraulic lift would have been nice I suppose, but I really like how simple the engine compartment is with mechanical lift.
The 63 for 2K is not bad if you really desire one I have seen them go for a lot more to the hardcore guy's they are the ultimate because it was the first. I had a chance to buy one about 12 years ago for about the same $$ but never really desired one .That 67 is well done and look's better than it ever did when it was sitting on the showroom floor I would be afraid to even sit on that one for fear of scratching it. I restored my 66 to a fairly high standard 10 year's ago but not that good. Friend of mine sold a basket case 63 110 a couple year's ago for $800 and the buyer came from 2 states away to get it and never even questioned the price and that one was toast. BILL
